OH! I responded to the e-mail. Because I had a small window, I was able to respond without looking. Here’s the simple version of what I e-mailed, then:
1. Honesty
2. Curiosity
3. (didn’t understand it)
4. Contentment
And the slightly expanded transcript:
1
honesty
but humor and kindness are right up there
2.
compassion?
no.
I don’t think “instill” is the right word.
Curiosity. But I didn’t instill it, I’ve nurtured it.
3.
I don’t understand the question.
4.
contentment
This is from Robin Libermann:
THANKS CLINT, THIS IS FUN! I PUT MY ANSWERS NEXT TO THE QUESTIONS.

Here’s my answers,
1. My first thought was how my wife and I are still very in touch with our love for each other, but that’s not really a quality. I would have to go with honesty as well because it rang true when I read it.
2. Self worth.
3. The majority of my relationships provide insight into my definition of happiness, I’m grateful to have so many people that provide that in my life. A little more specific would be my relationship with myself, I really do enjoy my own company and as this continues to improve I am more clear on what is important in my life.
4. My ability to be completely open with people. I live in a way that I am happy to share with others which marks success for me.
1. Fidelity
2. Independence – that has been my answer to this and similar questions for years. There is a caveat, however. I did this too well, as a result I rarely see my three boys! But they are all happy and that’s makes me extremely happy, too. I still think it’s a good quality, just be careful at being too good with this one. Something else I believe is very important is to always be non-judgmental.
3. This is going to sound very strange, but that would be with Lucy, our 6-month old dog. The joy that little animal has at the sound of a car pulling into the driveway, or the mention of a treat, or a pat on her head, can’t help but put a smile on my face. But the best is unconditional love, for EVERYONE!!! That is something very difficult for humans to achieve, but should be tops on our lists of aspirations.
4. Contentment and no regrets.
OK so this is the first chance I have had to look at fellow bloggers, so I’m a little late but I wanted to share my answers because I really like the questions. So here I go,
1. Honesty
2. Self-worth along with confidence in their own being.
3. Which ever ones I allow and I am honest in. The one relationship that always does that is Bruce. (i love that about us)
4. Me, I see others put specific “things” but this was my first thought, me and my perspective. I can look at different points in my life and feel or think that there has been failure but not in reality all of life is growing and learning. I like what I heard years ago. We are already a success now we just have to keep doing what we’ve been doing. That I loved then and I still LOVE.
